Build a National Think Tank Center

a national hub for intellectual development

OUR MISSION

The National Builders Party (NBP) envisions a modern and dynamic governance structure where thoughtful planning, research-based policymaking, and professional development drive national progress. To support this vision, the NBP proposes the creation of a National Think Tank Center (NTTC), a landmark institution dedicated to strategic planning, government innovation, policy development, and high-level training for both public and private sector stakeholders.

OUR PLAN

This complex will function as a national hub for intellectual development, leadership retreats, policy research, and inter-agency collaboration. Designed to be self-contained and multifunctional. It will serve as both a retreat and a planning center nurturing ideas into action, strengthening national programs, and empowering professionals across all sectors of society.

Core Purposes of the National Think Tank Center is to serve as a policy Incubation and Project Assessment center for the Gambian government.

The center will also host expert panels, researchers, and strategic advisors to study and develop major national programs and projects.

Additionally, it should provide a neutral, forward-thinking space for evaluating proposed government initiatives, identifying risks, assessing feasibility, and producing comprehensive implementation plans.

Leadership and Capacity Building

The National Think Tank center shall offer training programs and workshops for civil servants, elected officials, military and police leadership, local government administrators, nonprofit leaders, and community development agents.

The Center will also Promote continuous learning and professional development, including certification and credentialing opportunities in public administration, policy design, strategic communication, and national planning.

The Center will thus Serve as a convening space for public-private partnerships, civil society forums, donor coordination meetings, and research symposiums.

It will be built with the capacity to host national development dialogues where visionary Gambians and international experts can work together to design practical solutions to pressing national issues.

In the aspect of Strategic Planning and Crisis Management, the center will act as the national center for crisis simulation and response planning, including exercises on economic shocks, national security issues, public health emergencies, and climate-related threats.

IMPORTANCE

In alignment with our overall vision, the National Think Tank Center will be an institution that embodies the NBP’s commitment to thoughtful leadership, national vision, and sustainable development. It will be a cradle of strategy, where the blueprints of The Gambia’s future are carefully drawn, debated, refined, and ultimately delivered.

With this project, the NBP aims to elevate national decision-making to global standards, ensuring that every great idea receives the rigorous thought and practical planning it needs to become a reality.
