Celebrating Who We Are

NBP

A nation that does not know its history cannot build its future.

The Gambia has one of the most remarkable and painful histories on the African continent. The story of the transatlantic slave trade runs through this soil. The richness of Gambian music, art, language, and tradition is known far beyond its borders. Yet the country lacks the world-class institutions to honor, preserve, and share that heritage. The National Builders Party will change that.

A Gambia where its history is preserved with dignity, its artists are supported and celebrated, its cultural institutions are world-class, and every Gambian, young and old, knows and takes pride in who they are and where they come from.

The National Standard
Every Gambian knows who they are, where they come from, and why it matters. The history of this country, including its painful chapters, is documented, taught, and honored. Gambian artists have the platforms, the venues, and the institutional support they deserve. The diversity of Gambian culture, its languages, its traditions, its music, and its art, is treated as the national asset it is. Under the National Builders Party, The Gambia will know itself and celebrate itself without apology.
